Katherine Legge Memorial Lodge and park is a beautiful venue in Hinsdale, IL and I was really excited to spend the entire day there with Aly and Andy for their wedding. I had such a blast with them on their engagement session so I knew it would be a fun-filled day. The couple met in high school and have been together for several years and their intimacy and love for one another really shined throughout the day.

I started with Aly and her wedding party at the lodge where we had a great time getting to know each other while everyone got ready.

The couple exchanged gifts before the ceremony and Andy gave Aly a Fender guitar which she immediately started to play!

The ceremony took place outside under a canopy of trees and the light was nicely dappling through the leaves.

Their dog was part of the ceremony too and the two ring bearers had a fun time trying to wrangle him before the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we walked around the park for a quick portrait session and to give the two a little alone time (well, minus me!) on their big day.

Just as we finished our portraits, a giant rain cloud came in and it rained for most of the night. Luckily Aly and Andy had a large white tent to keep everyone comfortable and dry!
