I had such a wonderful time with Dana and Patrick on their engagement session so I knew their Spiaggia wedding would be a blast! They both have a great sense of humor and a love for photography which made it really fun to find and create some great moments and portraits for the two of them.

They both started getting ready at the Westin Michigan Avenue so I was able to meet with each of them separately to make some getting ready pictures.

After she was finished getting ready, Dana and I walked across the street from the hotel for her first look with Patrick. We decided on a spot near the Drake Hotel that was a little quieter than Michigan Avenue. They are both naturals in front of the camera which made for a relaxed portrait session after the first look.

The ceremony took place at the beautiful private event space at Spiaggia. The room is lined in windows that let in a ton of natural light. It was short and sweet with close family and friends in attendance. I was also able to get a photograph of their rings with Dana’s bouquet.

The reception started with some toasts from their best man and maid of honor and was followed by their first dances. Things were running a little late but I was able to get some shots of their parent dances as well before I left!
