The minute I met Maria and Rob I knew we’d be a great fit for their Prairie Production wedding. They are both hilarious and quirky and were recommended by my previous clients Dallas and Joe. I couldn’t have been more excited to capture all of the fun details of their day. I shot my first wedding ever (!) at Prairie Production and hadn’t been back since.
We started out at Freehand Chicago, a quirky hotel with gorgeous rooms and great light. The loft style space allowed for some great shots around the room and from above.
After everyone was ready, we headed to Duk’s Red Hots, a Chicago hot dog stand on Ashland. I’m always up for something different and loved the shots of everyone snacking in front of the restaurant.
After that we headed to Wicker Park for some portraits of Maria and Rob. We lucked out that it wasn’t too crowded and were able to get some nice fall colors and romantic moments between the two of them.
After our portrait session it was time for the ceremony. I love the white walls at Prairie Production that allowed us to evenly light the space and capture some great emotions throughout the ceremony.
The two shared their first dance outside with guests before dinner.
Before our time was up, Maria and Rob hopped into the Big Star food truck to dish out some dinner.
Congrats to you both and thanks to everyone who made this Prairie Production wedding so great!
