After shooting their engagement session, I knew that Natalie and Jeff’s Galleria Marchetti wedding would be fantastic! They are such a fun loving, beautiful couple who are both incredibly natural in front of the camera, allowing us to get some great moments of the two of them just being themselves.

I started off at the Waldorf Astoria with Natalie for getting ready photos. I love working at that hotel and their room was full of natural light and had enough space for everyone to get ready comfortably. While I was shooting the ladies, Chris was with Jeff photographing at their apartment. When everyone was ready we headed downstairs for the first look outside the hotel and stopped for portraits at the Kinzie St. Bridge and the Bassment, where they had their first date!

We were concerned about rain the whole day but at the last minute they were able to make the call to have their ceremony outside. The greenery around the ceremony space is so gorgeous and makes for an incredible backdrop and I was so grateful that the rain held off!

After the ceremony, the couple and guests were greeted by a mariachi band who played throughout cocktail hour. I love when my clients add personal elements like this to their wedding!

After dinner and a few dances, guests did the vibora de la mar dance which was a first for me! Guests are invited to dance around the entire venue and they threw Jeff in the air which made for one of my favorite photos of the night!
