A couple reacts to popping a bottle of champagne during a wedding at the Joinery in Chicago.

I loved working with Jan and Michael for their wedding at The Joinery! They are the absolute sweetest couple and Jan is one of the funniest ladies I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. Their intimate wedding this September was packed full of so much laughter and photographing these two was such a joy.

The outdoor ceremony space at the Joinery is gorgeous and we lucked out with some beautiful bright light falling through the trees during their vows. Their adorable cat was also a part of the ceremony and after adopting one myself and photographing this super sweet cat cafe engagement session, I think 2020 was definitely the year of the cat for me!
