From their intimate ceremony with a sudden downpour to their absolute joy popping celebratory champagne, Lynne and Carolyn’s New Lenox backyard wedding was definitely a day to remember! These two are the definition of a great couple and are best friends who spend most of their time laughing together. It’s clear from my time spent with them what a wonderful relationship they have and I think they phrased it best: We feel like kids having the best sleepover of their lives. 

After photographing their cat cafe engagement session (one of my all time favorites!), I knew their micro wedding would be such a joy to be a part of. They chose to have their event at a family home in New Lenox with close family and friends. Despite the sudden rain at the end of their ceremony, which made for some very fun photos, it was a beautiful sunny day and we laughed and clicked our way through their portrait session with ease. We even recruited the flower girl to help us out with some more artistic shots!
