Working with Alexis and Nick on their Logan Square engagement session was nothing short of perfect! They have a really lovely way of being together that made photographing them incredibly easy and it was so clear how much fun and love they have with one another.

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for over 10 years so it was a nice change to make photos in the places I see all the time. We started off at Challengers Comics where Alexis used to work and I learned all about their mutual love of comics. After that we headed to the 606 trail where we got some great light and managed to capture some fun background shots of the Blue Line cruising by. We closed out our Logan Square shoot with the Chicago mural and the Logan Theater before taking a few photos of them with their adorable cats at home.
