After working with them for their engagement session, I knew that Alexis and Nick’s Salvage One wedding would have the same fun, eclectic spirit. When I arrived and saw the wedding party decked out in animal onesies, I knew it was going to be a great day!
This wedding was packed with style and I loved Alexis’s ‘sixties vampire chic’ look. Despite a random April snowstorm to contend with, we managed to get some great photos around town starting with their first look at the Ace Hotel, a fun Singing in the Rain wedding party photo and a great night portrait in front of the Chicago sign at Salvage One.
Their love for each other radiated throughout the day and I found myself near tears several times! Their emotional ceremony, heartfelt toasts and perfectly timed first dance were just some of the highlights from their beautiful wedding. I also had the chance to work with longtime friend Loreen Rose for the first time which made it that much more special!
Congrats you two! Thanks so much for having us be a part of your day.
Special thanks to all of the fantastic vendors that made this Salvage One wedding so great!
